Dr. Katelyn Stoehr, Au.D., CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Katelyn Stoehr received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 in Communicative Sciences from Adelphi University, her Master of Science degree from Adelphi University in 2007 and her Clinical Doctorate in audiology from Florida State University in 2010. She holds state licensure as an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser in New York, a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Katelyn’s passion is helping patients hear better and live better. She takes pride in helping people who struggle with hearing loss and uses an empathetic, patient-centered approach in her diagnostic assessments. She strives to create a welcoming environment and takes her time to build a sense of trust and rapport while addressing patient concerns. When she is not at Island Better Hearing, Dr. Katelyn enjoys the beach during the warmer weather and spending time with her husband and daughters, family, and friends.
